Enterprise Design System
The Challenge
Larger organizations can dedicate resources to creating and maintaining custom design systems, while smaller organizations often struggle with this task. There was a clear market gap: SMBs needed enterprise-level design system quality without the overhead of an in-house team to build and maintain it.
The Approach
Built the Freshdesign Enterprise Design System (EDS) with two core objectives: meet the universal UX standards expected in enterprise software, and remain flexible enough for companies to adapt it to their own brand identity and product requirements. The system was designed to be customer-themed without deep engineering involvement.
Key Outcomes
The EDS has been adopted by several small to medium-sized companies who now ship consistently designed products without the cost of maintaining a bespoke design system. More details available at Freshdesign.com.
