Bank Connection Refresh
The Challenge
Financial institution connection flows are used by every Intuit product -- TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mint, and others -- to link user accounts to their banks. The existing flows were inconsistent across products and platforms, creating friction at a critical trust-building moment in the user journey.
The Approach
Collaborated with Intuit's IDX UX team to design a refreshed connection experience implemented consistently across web, iOS, and Android. Each implementation was customized for the individual Intuit product while sharing a unified underlying design system. An interactive flow diagram in Figma documented the complete experience for stakeholder alignment.
Key Outcomes
A unified bank connection experience delivered consistently across the Intuit product family, reducing friction at the point of financial institution linking while maintaining product-specific customization where needed.
